Grieg Shipping

Grieg Shipping is the ship management and project arm of Grieg Shipping Group. The open-hatch vessels are designed, developed and maintained by Grieg Shipping, to secure optimal operation through their effective life. By maintaining a continous focus on quality routines and procedures, together with onboard training and drills verified by audits, the vessels are at all times in compliance with our high quality standards as well as all relevant national and international regulations.

Our focus on quality is confirmed, amongst other things, by the vessels being holders of the US Coast Guards “Qualship 21″ certificate.  This means that the vessels are considered to operate to very high standards. Only about 10% of all vessels calling at American ports have such certificates.

The vessels are manned by highly qualified Philippine seafarers, specially educated and trained for our operations. A high return rate among the crew is emphasized to ensure familiarity with the vessels and operational standards.
